Phase 2 Exploration Completed in Anjamanga

PRGR has successfully completed Phase 2 exploration work in Anjamanga Graphite Mine Project. The Program included 334 pits, 15 auger drills and 1165 meters of trenches with collection of over 495 samples which are sent to lab for analysis. The complete Phase 2 exploration was focused on Anjamanga South AJMS2 prospect. The team has identified over 39 graphite schist layers covering surface area of 673,340 sq. meters extending from surface and grade at possibly 9% TGC subject to confirmation of results from Lab. The field work was conducted with the exploration team comprising in total of 8 geologists, 1 supervisor, 1 camp manager and 200 local labours.

“While majority of mining houses had a quite year due to Covid – 19, PRGR could able to finish the year with Graphite Phase 2 exploration in its prestigious project and could able to bring happiness to over 200 families with short term employment. We will be having few more exploration phases in 2021 to map the remaining prospects within this Project and hopefully get the mine up in 2022”,  Project Head Mr. Santhosh Kumar noted.
